ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :

Monitor the efficiency and accuracy of computerized accounting system, ensuring proper coding of entries into general ledger.
Monitor the accuracy/reasonableness of financial and statistical data provided by other departments.  Resolve data problems and provide timely reporting of unresolved issues to management.
Perform monthly reviews of the journal entries, sub-ledgers, reconciliations, accounting schedules and other accounting reports prepared by staff or received from other departments.  Report on problems/issues detected and recommend corrective actions to management.
Assist internal management with interpreting accounts, records, operating performance indicators and financial statements.  Prepare written reports as directed.
Supervise the preparation of schedules, supporting documentation (including narrative responses) for the outside auditors for annual and quarterly financial reviews.
Prepare and supervise preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and maintain related sub-ledgers and account reconciliations.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
Preferably work experience from a large multinational Accounting firm (ie. PwC, Deloitte, Ernst & Young, KPMG etc)
Minimum of 3-4 years' professional accounting experience
High level of intelligence, integrity and energy
Strong analytical skills
Excellent English skills, both in writing and orally
Skillful in using computers and application programs (MS Office).

Our new product:

MTM (Magnetic Tomography Meter) inspection is a Non Contact Magnetic Tomography pipeline survey technology enables the survey of pipelines of all configurations, underground and submerged, while they remain working at normal operating pressures and without the preparation procedures needed by in line intelligent pig techniques. The main features are:

Assessment of defects is based not on geometry but of the level of stress caused by them.
The pipeline remains in service throughout the survey thus eliminating cleaning, purging and downtime costs.
The survey report defines the location and extent of geometric and corrosion defects such as:
Loss of metal – including internal and external corrosion defects of any nature
Crack-like defects in any orientation
The final report defines the degree of danger of defects and recommends maximum safe working pressures and also the length of time it is safe to operate defective sections of pipe at those pressures.
