Macaronis Surf Resort is a small boutique hotel consisting of 8 waterfront villas (maximum occupancy 24 guests) located on North Pagai Island in the Mentawai Islands.

At Macaronis Resort we service English speaking foreign guests, employing staff locally as trainees and from Padang or Java for those who can fill the more senior positions.

Macaronis Resort is currently seeking suitably qualified professional people to join our team for the 2010 surfing season.

All applicants must be willing to live on location at Macaronis Resort in Mentawai for up to one month or more depending on circumstances, willing to work as part of a team assisting other departments when required with flexible working hours, must be polite, enthusiastic, willing to learn and have a genuine interest in meeting and communicating with foreign guests.

* Please note that meals and accommodation whilst at Macaronis Resort are supplied by the Company.

1. Head Chef: Harus punya pengalaman kerja di hotal berbintang atau restaurant dengan standard yang tinggi 5 tahun atau lebih. Pendapatan per bulan Rp.2.000.000 – 3.000.000 tergantung skill dan pengalaman.

2. Second Chef: Harus punya pengalaman kerja di hotel berbintang atau restaurant dengan standard yang tinggi 3 tahun atau lebih. Pendapatan per bulan Rp.1.500.000 – Rp.2.500.000 tergantung skill dan pengalaman.

3. Waitress & Bar Attendant: Female only aged between 20 years and 30 years, must be able to communicate clearly in English, attractive dress sense, hygienic, attention to detail and cleanliness in the restaurant and bar, previous training at tourism accademy and / or extensive experience working in the hospitality industry. Pendapatan per bulan Rp.1.300.000 – Rp.2.000.000 tergantung skill dan pengalaman.

* An opportunity also exists for Waitress & Bar applicants also skilled in offering Relaxation Massages. Those able to offer this additional service can enjoy a bonus Rp.50.000 per 1 hour massage. Applicants must be professional and skilled to be accepted for this additional position.

4. Reception, Front Office and Accounting: Female only aged between 25 and 35 years of age, must be able to communicate clearly in English, attractive dress sense, hygienic, attention to detail and cleanliness, previous training at tourism accademy specializing in front office and / or extensive experience working in a quality hotel. The applicant must be trustworthy with some accounting experience (reporting bar sales and weekly takings). Pendapatan per bulan Rp.1.500.000 – Rp.2.500.000 tergantung skill dan pengalaman.

5. Gardener / Tukang Taman: Pengalaman kerja di taman dengan standard yang tinggi dan punya inspirasi untuk landscaping. Dalam tahun depan Macaronis Resort akan membangun kolum berenang yang perlu landscaping dengan pohon tropis dan bunga bunga. Pendapatan per bulan Rp.1.200.000 – Rp.1.450.000 tergantung skill dan pengalaman.

6. House Keeping: Female or Male, must be able to speak some English and have had previous training in house keeping at tourism accadamy with extensive on the job experience. Pendapatan per bulan Rp.1.200.000 – Rp.1.600.000 tergantung skill dan pengalaman.

7. Videographer: Able to film surfing from specifically built tower in front of Macaronis wave, edit and make weekly surf DVD. Our guests will buy home made surf movies for up to US$100 each!! Macaronis Resort seeks an enthusiastic individual with the equipment and able to freelance, we offer a base wage under profit sharing agreement. Pendapatan up to Rp.10.000.000 per week (depending on skill, experience, quality of film equipment and guest numbers / purchases).

Responsibilities:

* Reports to: Manager, Asia-Pacific Region, Sustainable Agriculture
* Position Location: Lampung, South Sumatra, Indonesia
* Summary of Position:

o The Technical Consultant will be reporting from the Lampung coffee growing region and will be working with the Denpasar based Sustainable Agriculture Regional Manager. S/he will cultivate relationships with key stakeholders in and next to the Bukit Barisan Selatan National Park (BBSNP) in Southern Sumatra. S/he will be responsible for assisting in training exporters, local coffee collectors, technical assistance providers and model farmer groups in standards for sustainable agriculture, group certification methodologies and coffee traceability techniques. S/he will lead public consultations to create Local Indicator Guidelines and develop and/or adapt technical support tools. S/he will compile and maintain up-to-date information about the protection status of the BBSNP with particular focus on the coffee producers.

Requirements:

* Excellent written and verbal communications skills in English as well as local languages; ability to express himself/herself in a clear and concise manner
* Willingness to stay in the Lampung region
* Hold Bachelor's degree in agronomy, environmental science, or related field; Masters degree preferred
* Having 3-5 years of coffee sector and/or environmental and/or social sector experience in Indonesia; must be familiar with Indonesian Robusta coffee supply chains and production and processing activities as well as environmental protection requirements. Experience with the Sustainable Agriculture Network (SAN) or other certification standards is a plus.
* Farmer training and/or extensionist experience, especially in the design, organization and delivery of training events
* Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office and Internet)
